Hello Ron and  everyone, Have a  good day. 

 

When Helen and i went to see Jean yesterday she was sitting up in a chair by her bed and was uncomfortable so i said will i ask if you can get a pillow to sit on and she said she tried that but it was no use.
They brought her dinner while we were in and it was a pie and jacket potato but she only ate less than a quarter of the pie and could not eat more. Mind you she was like that before she went in to hospital.Things are not looking good and we know that there can be no uperation or treatment for her. I try to put things out my mind but it is not easy.

I must remember to flip my calendars over. It is a gorgeous hot day here so using the slow cooker to make our Sunday dinner in. Just a relaxing day for the most part.

Back from Church and breakfast.  Scrambled eggs with bacon, fruit, and rye toast.  Half of it came home.

 

Not much today.  Still working on getting yahoo mail into Thunderbird or Gmail.

Not here.  Only beginning.  Hottest month is September.  Hot and dry.  Fire weather.

Sometimes, ours sneaks in here the last week of September. Other times, it may be a week or two, into October.  One year you wear a sweater or jacket to the fair first week of October, the next year, a t-shirt and shorts.

 I had a relaxing day today. I needed it after the last two days. Kenny and his brother mowed 2 yards today. Afterwards

he grilled chicken. I didn't have our Sunday ritual today. It was a week today that Crissie tested positive for covid, and

I thought she needed to wait a few more days before she came over.

It is a  cloudy  day  today  and i am not  all that warm.

 

Later  this morning  i am  going  in  to town for  some groceries  and i  hope  to  go and see Jean in  the  afternoon if Helen finishes work  early  enough.

Happy Labour Day to many of you. My son has the day off so he is happy he will have a short work week. 

Another hot day here. Catching up on chores and exercise and no doubt a nap later as neuralgia pain kept me awake half the night.
